Inspired?

Who have I inspired? I'd like to think I've inspired each and every person who's ever gotten to know me, all of the families who I've captured memories for, my family and my friends, but let's face it, sometimes, most times, people don't take the time to say, "hey, you know what you said the other day, it really inspired me." It would be nice if they did, if we all did. I try to inspire my family each and every day, through pictures, music, books, and of course all the girly girl talks we share.
I would like to tell you about all of the mentors I've met and classes I've taken, but I can't. I'm a self taught photog on the beginning of this wild ride. I have learned so much from other photography blogs, those just starting out and the "seasoned" pros. I am inspired each day by the images I see, bright colors, composition, bokeh...oh how I love some bokeh. This is just the beginning of my wonderful journey, and I know I have so very much more to learn. I try to inspire through my words, and my pictures. Basically just by being me! I am a glass half full kind of gal, who always seems to be daydreaming, singing too loudy (and out of key ;) I'm the one who laughs so loudly people stop and stare. Ya know what? That's okay!

Happy Birthday to my BFF :)

Yesterday was my girl Jennies 29th (eh hem) birthday :) We had a little celebration for her filled with good (Mexican) food, great friends and TONS of laughs!! Here are some of my favorties from the night.

While I was driving home today....

I had to brave the cold today to go to parent teacher confrences, early no less, 10:30, LOL! My brain has a hard time functioning before 11 am and 6-8 cups of coffee;) After a spectacular report from Kenadie's teacher, I was prepared to come home, snuggle in the chair and maybe take a mid morning nap.....yes, I do LOVE nap time. Instead, I found this little snow filled creek and decided I should snap some shots. On another note i've also decided we are NOT getting any more snow this season (did you hear me Mother Nature??) Anywho, here are 2 of my favorites, this tiny icicle hanging on the over bridge, dripping away....and this creek couldn't have been any prettier....well, I guess if it were summer and the leaves were on the trees, with a hint of sunglare...but for winter anyway it was just perfect!

I was going to post some new fashions here from Gap, but seriously, I can't decide on only a few! Their new Marrakesh line is so fantastic! Since it's such an absolutley beautiful day today, with blue skies and even some sunshine :) I wanted to share these icicles. For all of you battling winter like me, stay warm and enjoy the sun.....on the few days it shines!

New Packages will be added tommorrow!!!

I've been working on some new packages to add to the website. I'm putting the final details on them tonight and they will be up and live tommorrow!!! YAY!! I'm so looking forward to spring, I was just looking through all of my shoots from the past summer, oh how I miss the warmth of the sun on my skin. Please come soon Summer, i don't know how much long I can be kind to Old Man Winter!

OOH, I'll also be posting some of the cutest new stuff from GAP tommorrow. Oh my, their new line is ADORABLE!

Missing the warm weather...

Normally I don't dislike winter, but this year I find myself wishing for sun and
warmth every day. I'm hoping for a short winter and spring, lets move right into
summer this year!
I'm putting together some new packages, that will be added to
the ones I already have, subsitution packages if you will! :)

I'm also hosting a Lia Sophia party soon (Jan. 19th) and there will be LOADS of

GUILTY AS CHARGED!!!

Yes, you heard me right, I'm guilty. Guilty of Blog Neglegt to the 3rd degree.
I'm making my New Year's Resolution too blog more consistanly.
There really is NO good reason that it's been 6 weeks for a post from
my poor lonely blog! There is good news however! :)
This post will be absolutly LOADED with awesome families
and great kids, all whom, i've had the pleasure to photograph.
