The Cutest Kid on the Block Contest {rules}

Sheryl Dagenais Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid on the Block Contest! Beginning Friday May 21st you will be able to submit a photo of your cute kid(s), and the winner will receive a free photo session with Sheryl Dagenais Photography, as well as fabulous photo prize valued at $225!!!!! Here are the details:




TO ENTER
* One entry per child {if you have 10 cute kids..(not only are you brave)...you can enter each of them one time:)}

* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest

* Child must be 17 years old or younger on the date of entry

* Absolutly NO professional pictures will be accepted, these entries will not be submitted and considered void.

* Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months

* Photos will be accepted from 12:01am Friday May 21st, 2010 until 11:59pm Sunday May 23rd, 2010 (EST) via e-mail

* Only photos e-mailed to [cutestkidontheblockcontest@hotmail.com] with the Subject line CKOTB CONTEST during the previosuly mentioned time will be accepted

* Include your child's first name and age in the e-mail, as well as your name and contact information. (first name will NOT be posted for viewing, but i will be posting the first initial and age)

* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 30 mile radius from Escanaba, MI, you must choose a location within 30 miles of Escanaba, MI for your prize shoot, or a travel fee will be charged of 85 cents per mile, each direction, beyond 30 miles.




HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED
* All entries will be uploaded into an album by Sheryl Dagenais Photography on Monday May 24th, 2010, on the facebook fan page.

* To vote for a photo you MUST be a 'fan' (or under the new facebook system 'like') Sheryl Dagenais Photography

* Click 'like' for the photo you are voting for in the Sheryl Dagenais Photography album labeled 'Cutest Kid on the Block'

* Photo with the most 'likes' will be the winner. Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes

* Sheryl Dagenais Photography will verify that all 'likes' of the winning photo come from Sheryl Dagenais Photography facebook fans. 'likes' from non-fans will not be counted

* Voting will close Friday June 4th, 11:59pm

* Official winner will be notified and announced no later than Sunday, June 6th, 2010




WHAT YOU WILL WIN
* The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most 'likes' will receive a free photo session with Sheryl Dagenais Photography, and a print package valued at $225! The winner will also receive a low resolution cd with all of the images from the session, to share with friends and family on the web! {facebook, blogs, email etc - not to be printed, reproduced, or altered in any way}

* Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before August 31, 2010

* Complete prize retail value of $275 - can not be altered or changed in any way, and not redeemable for cash

* Additional prints will be available for purchase if the winner so chooses

* This prize can be transfered or gifted to another individual {gasp!!!}

* No other promotions or discounts can be applied

I was driving Gorda {no, that's not a mispell Ü} home the other day, and saw this awesomely {yes, I made that up} great old building. I'm sure it has seen better days, but the boarded up windows, with peeling paint and the distressed bricks were perfect for our little photo outing. Oh, and if your wondering these kids are totally faking it, LOL! It was chilly, they were crabby, but the idea of a treat was out weighing the crankyness, and I ended up with some really cute shots ♥

A-DOR-A-BLE!

Another fantastic family came to see me last week for some 8 week baby shots. This little one was so smiley and in such a great mood! It was definatly my pleasure to get some photo's of this family. Her big brother and sister were so awesome, and you could definatly feel their love for their little sister. Who could blame them, she is a heart melter! Thanks Lacey and Doreen for bringing them over!

Yes, you heard me right, I'm guilty. Guilty of Blog Neglegt to the 3rd degree.
I'm making my New Year's Resolution too blog more consistanly.
There really is NO good reason that it's been 6 weeks for a post from
my poor lonely blog! There is good news however! :)

This time it's Kenadie's turn for the tutu fun! I'll be getting one of these in a giant canvas print

This is why I♥Fall. Teigan and I went for a walk and got some REALLY cute shots!

She found this leaf, and immediatly asked who was eating it? Hmmm, good question :)

So we find a trail, and Teig wants to see what's at the end..........so we walk....and we walk........
and we walk......finally we reach a field, and I have to tell her the trail is done......I think we'd
still be walking! Things we found along the way...






Okay, so we're standing at the "end" of the trail and these beautiful green leaves are still
full and lush on the tree, they are making a canopy over the trail and I just can't help but say,
"Teig, can you do some poses for me?".......This is what I got, LOL! What a kid!


And one last shot of the day...she's trying to reach the leaves to pull one off the branch!
