Yes, I am a day late with this one, LOL, but I figured since last week I posted not one, but two Saturday Styles on Friday, that this one could be a day late...I seem to be losing my mind. Most days I have to look at my phone to see what day of the week it is. Enjoy the pretty pinks, and corals this set has to offer!

Wear it Wednesday!

Hello my bloggie peeps :) I'm going to start a weekly {hopefully every wednesday} what to wear post! Today I've chosen to get all my stuff from Old Navy! So cute, and so afordable, who doesn't love that?!? With summer hot on our heels I've picked a very airy and light, yet colorful, summery wordrobe for family pics! Hope you can find some inspiration from it!

What to Wear {Weekend Edition}

So, while trying to pick out some clothes for my girls next family photo, I stumbled across these GREAT finds from GAP! Oh, they're just too cute, and SO fashionable!

EEEK!! What do I wear?

The photoshoot is booked, the session fee is paid, EEEK! What should we wear?
That is one of the most common questions I get. I've decided to put together
a little guide for all of you who just aren't sure what to put on!!



First things first, you must be comfortable in your choice of clothing.
If your kids aren't comfy, the pictures will be a near disaster! Personally,
I love the "Dressy Casual" look for Family portraits. No, this doesn't mean
everyone has to wear kakhi's and white button up shirts. We want your portraits
to look like a family picture, so coordination and little accessories are the big key here.



Solid colors with texture work best. It's okay to bend the rules, but I don't reccomend
Dad in flannell, Mom in flowers, Suzie in polka dots and Tommy wearing stripes. Oh my,
I'm imagining that photoshoot right now, LOL! What I mean by texture is the feel of the
fabric; cable knit sweaters, a hat with little knit balls, boots with fur.
See where I'm going with this?



Here are some great examples of color combinations.
Some are all from one color family, and others are using complimenting colors.
