Fix it Friday!!

YAY :D Another Fix it Friday over at I{heart}faces :) Here is my fix on this little cutie pie. This one was really a challenge for me, since the whole picture was so dark to begin with, but I'm really diggin' the vintagey feel I gave it.

Inspired?

Who have I inspired? I'd like to think I've inspired each and every person who's ever gotten to know me, all of the families who I've captured memories for, my family and my friends, but let's face it, sometimes, most times, people don't take the time to say, "hey, you know what you said the other day, it really inspired me." It would be nice if they did, if we all did. I try to inspire my family each and every day, through pictures, music, books, and of course all the girly girl talks we share.
I would like to tell you about all of the mentors I've met and classes I've taken, but I can't. I'm a self taught photog on the beginning of this wild ride. I have learned so much from other photography blogs, those just starting out and the "seasoned" pros. I am inspired each day by the images I see, bright colors, composition, bokeh...oh how I love some bokeh. This is just the beginning of my wonderful journey, and I know I have so very much more to learn. I try to inspire through my words, and my pictures. Basically just by being me! I am a glass half full kind of gal, who always seems to be daydreaming, singing too loudy (and out of key ;) I'm the one who laughs so loudly people stop and stare. Ya know what? That's okay!

Okay, this one should be F.U.N!!! I for one, can't wait to go through the entries to see all of the posts for this week. I've decided to submit my BFF's little boy Braeden, he is such a cutie pie. ALWAYS making some crazy face, or giving the super cheese crooked grin. Thanks little B your a STAR!!









And last but not least my other BFF's teeny weeny bundle, Camryn, I'm not sure what I said or did to make her frown like this, but I will certainly try NOT to do it again :)

Fix it Friday!!

Another FIF at I♥FACES!!! This one was really great!! I just love bright colors and the contrast between the blue sky and the purple dress is fantastic! So here is the before...


and here is my fix, I did some lightening on her face, then some contrast to bump up the colors. I also cropped and ran a noiseware to get rid of the fuzz :)

Hands on photo challenge...

This photo challenge was really fun, I had a hard time choosing which of the many pictures of mini Camryn I was going to enter. After several rounds of "enie menie miney moe" this is the final final choice :) I can't wait to see the other entries! Good Luck Ladies.......and Gentlemen ;)

Fix it Friday!!

Only one day late on the Fix it Friday post ;) So here is my take on this little cutie pie. I couldn't get the raw file to open for the fix, so the shade area of the photo is slightly darker than I would have liked, but it is what it is :) I added a bit of texture to the background to soften it up a bit.

Ya know when your wandering around on the net, and one blog leads to another and another and another? Well that is how I found this AWESOME site!!! It's called I♥faces, and it's the coolest place in the history of ever!! They post a pic each week and then you get to edit it, how cool! so here is mine...
This is the original...Mom said she didn't like the distracting background and the differnce from blown out to shadow on the face of this cutie pie.

Now that I'm looking at it, I should have gotten a bit closer to her hair line on the right side, but you get the general idea :)
